CORESS (Confidential Reporting System for Surgery) is embarking on an ambitious programme of development and is seeking to appoint its first Communications Director. This pivotal role will create and lead the charity’s communications strategy.
The role is suitable for an experienced surgeon interested in joining a team of surgical professionals working to expand the CORESS mission across UK surgical specialties. It is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiast with an interest or experience in surgical education, patient safety and quality improvement to work at national level. The role will be supported by a commercial web provider and a lead colleague already active on social media.
Applicants should have a track record of excellent writing skills and be experienced in the use of digital media.
This post is an honorary appointment, but all reasonable expenses will be refunded with oversight by the Hon. Treasurer and Board of Trustees. The term of appointment will be 3-years, renewable.
