Retired Otolaryngologist, Mr Roy Miller was appointed Honorary Librarian in December 2012. During his tenure he aims to raise the profile of the College library by actively promoting and expanding the services offered to Fellows and Members. Previously Mr Miller oversaw the modernisation of the library with a new reading room, internet access provision and climate controlled storage for our vulnerable book collection. In 1998 he co-edited "Treasures of the College". For over ten years he has chaired informally "Coffee Conversations" in the library. He has been a Governor of Baillie′s Institution since 2002 and is a member of both the Scottish Society of the History of Medicine and the Royal Philosophical Society of Glasgow.
