Lidya Metta is a global regulatory affairs expert working within the food and beverage sector. Having previously held a senior advisor role specialising in the Asia Pacific region at a leading consultancy within the food and supplement industries, she is currently a senior regulatory affairs specialist at Beam Suntory, a global beverage company, where she oversees compliance and drives regulatory strategies to navigate the dynamic landscape of food and public health policies across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Lidya has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from King’s College London and a Master in Public Health from Queen’s University Belfast. A fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, she has particular interest in public health nutrition and global health, which rises from her experience of living and working in diverse places across four continents. Lidya lives in Glasgow and enjoys exploring the city’s exciting music and art scene in her spare time.
