Vicki Greig
Vice Dean
Biography
Vicki is an NHS Consultant and Honorary Clinical lecturer in Oral Surgery, currently working within NHS Grampian where she chairs the health board’s MCN in OMFS/Oral Surgery.
As a registrar in Oral Surgery, Vicki was the first dental trainee in Scotland to be awarded a prestigious Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellowship.
Vicki obtained her MFDS from the College in 2013 and then the M(Oral Surg) in 2017. Vicki has held several College roles including MFDS Part 1 examiner and convener, Director of MFDS Part 1&2 exam preparation course, and Ordinary Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery Executive and Education boards respectively.
In her current roles she works closely with colleagues across medicine, primary and secondary care dentistry. From this, Vicki has gained an understanding of the pressures being faced by members across the whole dental sector in terms of finance, wellbeing and health as we learn to live with Covid-19.
Vicki is committed to working closely with our members to ensure that as a Faculty and College, we are providing support and educational opportunities that are representative of the views of colleagues across primary and secondary care, and deliver “value” in every sense of the word.
