I have been a Podiatrist for almost 40 years. After graduating from the London Foot Hospital in 1981, I worked in general practice and mental health before moving into NHS management, thence to lecturing at University College London, and culminating as consultant podiatrist to the Royal Hospital.
My primary focus has always been on clinical podiatry, with special emphases on anaesthesia, pharmacology, diabetes, neurology and geriatrics. I have contributed several chapters to standard podiatry texts, and authored the ‘Illustrated Dictionary of Podiatry and Foot Science’.
I come from, and am based in South London, and I am really looking forward to my role as a Regional Advisor to the Greater London area.
