The National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death (NCEPOD) 2018 call for study proposals is open until 5th October 2018. Organisations are invited to submit original study proposals which will be considered as possible forthcoming studies.

Senior doctors have raised new concerns for patient safety in the NHS across the UK in a new report released today (Tuesday 26 June). The fears are highlighted in “Focus on Physicians 2017 – 18”. The report has been jointly published by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians of London.
Mike McKirdy, the Global Health Director of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow has today (Tuesday) welcomed the announcement by the Scottish Government that it has established the Scottish Global Health Co-ordination Unit to support NHS Scotland Global Health work.
