There are over 20 specialty prizes available, including the ASiT Medal, Poster of Distinction Prize, and Medical Student Prize, with prize funds at over £3,000.
Abstracts of audits, original research, pilot-projects, case reports, systematic reviews or meta-analysis are invited. International trainee submissions are also welcome from outside the UK and Ireland.
The deadline for submissions is 16 January.

About the conference
The 2017 ASiT International Surgical Conference is taking place in Bournemouth, 31 March – 2 April 2017. The conference combines talks from plenary speakers, and workshops covering topics across surgical practice, training and research, with something suitable for surgeons at all stages of training.

- Chief Scientific Officer Chair of the Joint Committee on Surgical Training
