    IMPACT Course

The IMPACT course is a two-day course introducing the principles and practice of acute medical care and related knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes. Designed by the Federation of Royal Medical Colleges and the Royal College of Anaesthetists, this course is endorsed by the Resuscitation Council UK, the Intensive Care Society and the Society of Acute Medicine. IMPACT enables trainee doctors at CT1 level and above, (specifically trainee physicians) to assess and treat acutely unwell patients and where appropriate gives guidance on when to ask for help.

    IMPACT Course Terms and Conditions

When you register for the IMPACT course you are entering into a contract with the course organisers therefore you must attend the whole course and complete the pre-course online SIMPACT learning package.

SIMPACT is an educational tool that will help you prepare for the two-day IMPACT Course. You will have a minimum of four weeks to work through the SIMPACT package. SIMPACT must be completed no later than 7 days prior to the course. If this is not completed within the required timeline you may lose your place on the course and the fee paid.
