    Bypassing the Inevitable?

The Faculty of Podiatric Medicine is delighted to present its Annual Conference and AGM.

Here is a unique opportunity to engage with the latest national and international podiatry and vascular research and clinical service initiatives to help preserve limbs and prolong lives.

All evidence now suggests that only by adopting a truly multi-disciplinary approach to the vascularly compromised limb will any real progress in patient prognosis and clinical outcomes be achievable.

This conference brings together current thinking and practice from vascular, podiatric and management perspectives with a specific focus on the challenges facing clinicians in implementing current internationally acclaimed research in this area.

    Topics include:

    • Geospatial mapping and data linkage
    • Managing cardiovascular risk in partnership with lower limb specialists.
    •  MDT management of Vascular disease including speakers on Vascular surgical options, orthopaedic structural management and the control of infection.

All practising podiatrists, particularly those working in foot protection services and with an interest in vascular issues affecting the lower limb are encouraged to attend.
