Dr Naomi Dodds

Programme Faculty

Naomi has been lucky enough to travel as an expedition leader to captivating places across the globe, from the Himalayan mountains to the jungles of South America and Alaska's remote wilderness. Her enthusiasm for expedition medicine ignited her passion to study medicine as a psychology graduate, and she is now working as an anaesthetic trainee in Scotland. She is a qualified International Mountain Leader and an active member of the Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team. She enjoys sharing her love for mountain medicine, teaching on various wilderness medicine and mountaineering courses. Her most recent adventures have taken her to Arctic Norway, to fly with the Norwegian Air Ambulance and run a 120km mountain ultra across the island of Senja.
