Details
A bequest from the late Mrs Aileen Lynn has enabled the College to establish a fund to be used in the field of cancer research.
One to two small equipment grants, up to £5,000, each may awarded each year, dependent on the quality of submissions and the funds available.
Awards will be paid on approval of applications. All applications must be prospective; no award will be made retrospectively e.g. if your proposal is taking place in 2024, you must submit your application by the closing date of 31 August 2023. This is to ensure all applications are ready for review, which takes place in October annually.

Download and complete the application form and return the completed form to the address given. Make sure to include in your application:
- A curriculum vitae
- Letter of support from the institution where the work will be undertaken
- A description of the equipment sought, with a description of the projects that will be advanced by the acquisition of the new equipment.
- You will be required to submit progress reports of your research project (2-3 A4 typescript pages). Reports may be published on the College website, and are retained in the College library.
